  • Flax Seed Oil - boosts health and performance in hard training athletes. Studies show it increases energy production and reduces recovery times after intense training. It also stimulates higher fat burning rates to keep your leaner while you pack on muscle.
  • L-Carnitine - transports fat into the mitochondria (the energy centre of every muscle cell) to be oxidized or "burnt" for energy. Fats (with the exception of MCT’s) cannot penetrate the inner mitochondrial membrane to be utilized unless it is paired to carnitine. In fact, every cell's fat burning capacity is carnitine-dependant.

Recovery and Growth Nutrients

  • Glutamine Peptides - are a more stable form of L-Glutamine and better assimilated by your body. Glutamine helps reduce muscle break down caused by hard training allowing faster recovery and more growth.
  • Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA's) - leucine, isoleucine and valine make up approximately 1/3 of your total muscle protein and are extremely important. BCAA's reduce muscle fatigue, speed recovery, decrease the loss of other amino acids from muscle during exercise and help your body absorb protein.
  • Chromium - enhances the rate at which protein is synthesized by the body and promotes intracellular uptake of free amino acids from the blood and assimilation by the cells. It retards the rate of protein degradation by the body within the cells and work synergistically with BCAA’s to enhance muscle recovery and growth.
  • Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate (AAKG) - is a precursor to Nitric Oxide (NO). Nitric Oxide acts as a hemodilator that relaxes the smooth muscle of your arteries to stimulate increased blood flow for greater energy, endurance and amazing muscle pump.

Nutrition for Maximum Mass Eating big to build size is a commitment serious trainers must make. What should your eating program look like? Here is a sample nutrition plan that will give you the balanced intake for optimum gains:

Meal 1 (7.00am)

2 whole eggs +6 eggwhite omelette, large bowl of oats with milk, 2 - 4 slices wholemeal toast with peanut butter, orange juice, tea or coffee

Meal 2 (9.00am)

MAX’S Mass Gainer Pro-Xtreme Shake

Meal 3 (10.30am)

1 x grilled Chicken Breast, 1 cup steamed rice, Apple & banana (or other seasonal fruit), fruit juice

Meal 4 (12.30pm)

Tuna (185g tin), large garden salad & dressing, sweet potato, wholemeal bread. Protein Bar (MAX’S CVGM or Muscle Meal Bar)

Meal 5 (2.30pm)

Drink at least 2 - 3 litres of water throughout the day.

Training Guidelines for Maximum Mass

  • Train 4 - 5 days per week and train only 2 - 3 body parts per workout.
  • Warm up with 2 - 3 sets then perform 2 - 3 all out sets to failure with the heaviest weight you can handle with good form
  • Aim to get to failure after about 6 - 8 reps, if you are doing more reps put the weights up
  • Use high intensity techniques every few workouts like forced reps, drop sets and supersets
  • Each workout should not exceed about 1 hour
  • Use only 2 exercises per body part during each workout and change these regularly
  • Use mass building compound exercises rather than isolation movements like bench press for chest, squats for legs, barbell military press for shoulders, chins for back., etc
  • After about 5 - 6 weeks of heavy training, switch to a lighter raining load for a few weeks then build back up to another heavy training cycle

Serving suggestion Take 2 - 3 servings during the day between meals (refer to sample diet on this label). Mix recommended serving in a shaker with cold water or milk, and shake for 30 seconds. For faster mass gains you can increase your number of serves per day. Consume within 30 minutes. 1 level scoop = approx. 40grams. Recommended serving sizes:
