The recent WNBF Australasian titles held at Cabravale Diggers on Saturday 15th October was another succesful campaign for Arthur Vickers and Basilio Leong.

First up was Arthur who was in the Middleweight division. Looking sharper and bigger than ever before he was always going to be tough to beat. But after an intense battle on stage for the 2nd year in a row he was just beaten. But like I said he has once again taken his body to another level and although missing out on the title he deserves, he can still hold his head high.

Next up we had Basilio on stage in the Grand Masters, going up against long time rival Dave Barry. With Leong still 2 weeks out of top condition for his ANB Aussie title defence it was not going to be easy to steal this title. Again showing a lean shredded and improved physique, Leong had the body of a 20 year old! With many comparisons and close call outs we knew it was close.  Although controversial, you could hear who the crowd thought should win when Leong was announced in 2nd place. But it was'nt too be, and now he will focus on the ANB Aussie titles at Marconi Club on 25,26th of October. He will be joined by many other local competitors for the day, we wish everyone the best of luck.
