If you are struggling to get in shape at the moment, not being able to budge those last kilos, i think this can help. This is straight from Max's website that i stumbled on, it is very strict but if followed you will be lean and ready for summer!  

2 week 'Lean Up' blitz

­With only about 8 weeks to Christmas, our 2 Week Lean-Up Blitz is a great way to drop some body fat quickly to reveal your hard earned muscle.

This diet is pretty strict but if you can tough it out for a couple of weeks you will really see results.

General rules:

  • Don’t cheat or it won’t work!
  • Keep training hard, weights and cardio
  • Drink 3 – 4 litres of water each day

Here’s your diet:

Meal

Breakfast

- 1 Cup Oats mixed with MAX’S HP+ Protein Shake (1 scoop HP+ in 250ml cold water)
- Tea or coffee

- 6 egg white, 1 egg yolk omelette with 1 piece wholemeal toast.
- Tea or coffee

- MAX’S HP+ Shake
(2 scoops HP+ in 300 – 400 ml cold water)
- Tea or coffee

Mid Morning

- HP+ Protein Shake (1 scoop HP+ in 250ml cold water)

- 85g Tin of Tuna in spring water. (option-mix with a dob of mayonnaise and diced spring onions)

- Small Apple
- 50 grams almonds

Lunch

- Chicken Salad
(Grilled shredded chicken breast mixed with lettuce, cherry tomatoes, diced red onion, capsicum, seeded mustard and small dob of mayonnaise)

- Stir fried lean beef and vegetables (Carrot, broccoli, snow peas, baby corn, capsicum, bok choy, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, dash olive oil)

- BBQ chicken, skin removed
- Tabouli Salad

Mid Afternoon

- 85g Tin of Tuna in spring water. (option-mix with a dob of mayonnaise and diced spring onions)

- HP+ Protein Shake (1 scoop HP+ in 250ml cold water)

- HP+ Protein Bar

After Training

- HP+ Protein Shake (1 - 2 scoops HP+ in 300 - 400ml cold water)

- HP+ Protein Shake (1 - 2 scoops HP+ in 300 - 400ml cold water)

- HP+ Protein Shake (1 - 2 scoops HP+ in 300 - 400ml cold water)

Dinner

- Baked fish in herbs and olive oil
- Garden salad (lettuce, tomato, capsicum, cucumber, avocado with dash of olive oil & balsamic vinegar)

- Grilled chicken breast marinated in garlic &herbs
- Steamed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots)

- BBQ Lean Beef Steak
- Stir Fried Vegetables (Carrot, broccoli, snow peas, baby corn, capsicum, bok choy)

Before bed (only if really hungry!)

- HP+ Protein Shake (1 scoop HP+ in 250ml cold water)

 

 

You’ll notice in the above plan we recommend using MAX’S HydroxyPhase+ Protein. HP+ is formulated to help trainers strip body fat as part as a reduced carbohydrate diet. Our experience has shown this to be the fastest and most effective way to get lean. This plan should be used for 2 weeks, then you can revert back to a normal healthy diet that incorporates healthy carbohydrate foods (unprocessed wholegrain foods like wholemeal and wholegrain breads, starchy vegetables like sweet potato, corn and peas, pasta, and brown rice).
